Grand Teton National Park has been a great destination for my family the last couple of years. It is a fun environment to witness first hand the National Park's wildlife and beauty. W

This is one of my most favorite places. The steep jagged mountains serve as a breathtaking backdrop standing on the edge of Jackson Lake. If you love to boat, sail, or canoe you can rent or bring your own.  The lake gets a little choppy in the afternoons but is still in the mornings. Right after sunset to about 9am you can get photos where the water is like glass and the mountain reflection picks up nicely.

If you are looking for a lodge Jackson Lake Lodge is a beautiful place that will give you the full experience of the Tetons. When we stayed there a few years ago we had to wait for a cow moose and her calf to get off of our little lawn so we could get into our room. They have a huge deck that over looks a marsh and the lake, and of course the mountains. We watched 2 bull moose lock antlers and spar with each other for 20 minutes from the deck. Their food is good and the service top notch. AT&T coverage was excellent for you iPhone users.

A few days ago we stayed in Colter Bay campgrounds in our RV. They have 2 campgrounds (one with full hookups and one without). The full hookup side was about $57 per night and the other was $19 per night. If you have a generator the $19 is sufficient. They have 3 easily accessible RV dumps. Full showers, gift store, grocery store, boat rentals, swimming beach, paved and unpaved trails throughout. Very short walk (just a few minutes) to the lake.
