General Questions

How do I become an Affiliate?
Its easy!  Just fill out the Application Form and submit it for review.  If you are approved you will be notified in 1-3 business days.

Are Affiliate's employees of eCompliments?
No, Affiliates are not eCompliments employees. They are independent contractors who will receive a 1099 at the end of each year.

Can anyone be an Affiliate?
Yes.  So long as you are over the age of 18 and agree to the terms of the Affiliate Program, you can be an Affiliate.

How and when are Affiliates paid?
Any time a profile upgrades to a Pro Package and uses an Affiliate Code, a referral fee is credited to the Affiliate Account.  Affiliates that are credited with referrals will be paid on a monthly basis by check. Payments are generally sent out on the 15th of the month following the month in which referrals are credited.

Web Affiliate Questions

How do I link my website to the eCompliments site?
Once you are approved as an Affiliate, download a banner to your site and then embed the link sent to you to connect between the sites.

As a web affiliate, do you have banners / graphics for me to use on my site?
Yes.  Click on the Banner's Page to download.

Does an Affiliate get compensated for click thru's to the eCompliments site?
No.  Our Affiliate Program is a CPA (cost-per-action) program where we pay a referral fee for every upgrade to a Pro Package.

How does eCompliments know which sales should be attributed to an Affiliate?
There are two ways of tracking.  First, if the purchaser uses the Affilliate's unique code, then that Affiliate is credited with the referral.  Second, if the purchaser clicks to the eCompliments Site via the banner on the Affiliate's website, a cookie will be placed on the user's computer which will designate which Affiliate referred the user to the eCompliments Site. 

When does the affiliate cookie expire?
The cookie stays active for 90 days, unless cleared by the user.
