Hey, I know I am the preacher but I do love the people of this church. A great bunch of Christians who are really trying to love God and people in the midst of busy lives and tragic circumstances. We have a great young adults group and a growing children's ministry. And the preacher is not too bad, even though he is Australian.

Kept getting freezes but didn't call about that because I heard they had terrible customer service.  Turned TV on at 9.30 am and it was jammed in the middle of a software update. Called Uverse and got a live person in a minute. Fixed the update problem right away. Noticed that I had been getting freezes and lockups. Organized a guy to come and fix it up. Guy was there in one hour. Completely reinstalled the wiring. Uverse now works great. I'm glad because I didn't want to switch to another company as I love the free wifi I get with them at Starbucks and McDonalds. I'm in Burbank and the service guy was David.

My car's battery and alternator died yesterday. Called AAA and they were there in 20 mins. Called back to tell us exactly when they would get there. Called later to make sure everything was OK. They go the car started by they had the tow truck there just in case. Great service. With all the other benefits you get from AAA I think you are mad if you don't keep a membership with them.

Very effective and practical help to homeless families. For those who recently have become homeless this shelter is very good and getting them back into employment and independent living.

Great English food. Patio dining is so relaxing. Service is first class. Has a lot of history. Has been a restaurant in this building since the 1920's. Casablanca external shots were filmed here. Try the sausage rolls.

Always good donuts. And they even throw in a free one. You just can't have enough donuts.

Great Chinese food in a well appointed restaurant. Not too pricey and the service is always great. Very close to the movies.  Try their Salt and Pepper shrimp.

Love this Starbucks. Lots of room and lots of power outlets for my Macbook. Even the coffee is good.

I wasn't a big believer in Chiropractic. But you'll do anything when you're in pain.  I'm not sure what I did to injure myself but I had radiating pain beginning at my shoulder and running down my arm. After 2 visits to urgent care that left me with a prescription for Vicodin and no relief from the pain ("you"ll just have to wait until the pain goes away"), I sent a mass email to local friends for a good chiropractor. I was referred to Dr. Suarez by a friend of a friend and made an appointment.

At my first visit, I really felt Dr. Suarez listened to me. Then I got to spend some time lying down on this magical bed with roving massage things going up and down my back. That was wonderful.

In past visits to other Chiropractors I never really felt the love. Not so here. Even with the necessary adjusting (read: cracking my neck) I felt in good hands. My pain was immediately lessened to quickly completely gone.

That was in January of 2009 and I have been seeing him regularly to keep myself pain free. I've grown to enjoy the adjusting part, and did I mention the bed with the roving massage things? Awesome.

I also so appreciate how they searched out my insurance issues (without my asking them too - very nice) and offered me ways to keep making my visits while paying less. With an un-assuming office  that is clean, quiet and relaxing, I can highly recommend Dr. Suarez.
