Darin Manis

Darin Manis is the CEO and Founder of eCompliments, LLC. Darin has an extensive business background, is a consummate entrepreneur, and has successfully run several national corporations. He is considered an expert as a consultant in the financial sector. 

In the last year alone, he has been quoted more than 55 times in such publications as the Wall Street Journal (10 times), CNBC, CNN Money, Reuters, Wall Street Letter, Registered Rep, and many others.

Darin and his wife have a heart for orphans, and founded the Orphan Coalition, a nonprofit global coalition of people, businesses, and other nonprofits supporting tens of thousands of orphans worldwide.

On a personal note, Darin has been married for 15 years. They have a son and daughter and reside in Colorado, splitting their time between their homes in Colorado Springs and Breckenridge. Traveling, winter sports, hiking, community activities and church are all passions the family shares together.

Trey Tipton

Trey Tipton is our Co-Founder and VP of Operations. Trey is an attorney, entrepreneur and business consultant. Prior to his role with eCompliments, he served as CFO and In-House Counsel for a Non Profit Organization.

Mr. Tipton is admitted to practice law in the State of Oklahoma and was an attorney at the Tulsa, Oklahoma law firm of Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson, LLP, where his practice focused on corporate & securities law and M&A work.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Oklahoma and his joint Juris Doctorate and Masters of Business Administration from the OU College of Law and the OU Price College of Business.

Mr. Tipton is active in his community and has helped start two Young Professional organizations in separate cities, most recently Norman NEXT. He is Co-Chair of the NEXT Board of Directors and serves on the Board of the Orphan Coalition.

Trey and his wife Meredith have been married for 5 years and enjoy cooking, traveling and playing golf.

Jeff Thomas

Jeff Thomas is our CTO. Jeff has worked on the EC project since its inception in 2008, leading the technical and user interface design and website development effort.  Jeff has managed creative, interactive, business and technical projects for over twenty-five years. He appreciates the difference between artistically creative and commercially beneficial design, and understands the importance of business approaches that provide a strong return on investment.

Jeff has extensive project management experience over large-scale software development efforts, including experience with such firms as FedEx.  With almost ten years at FedEx, he had management responsibility for FedEx's highly acclaimed COSMOS customer service system that processed 30 million transactions daily, with 99.99% accuracy, availability and sub-second response time. Jeff’s responsibilities included management of large staffs and multi-million dollar budgets. 

Jeff founded 30dps (short for Thirty Dreams Per Second) in 1989.  Mr. Thomas has managed the development of dozens of commercial multimedia products and countless interactive websites.  Under Jeff’s leadership, 30dps has also established a sound reputation for excellence in creative marketing and advertising services, graphic design, and new media.

Jeff has a degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. Jeff is 54 years old, and has been married to his wife Jill for twenty-six years.  They live in Colorado Springs, have three children, one grandson, and enjoy hiking and beach-sitting when time allows.
