Aug 31, 2009Tropical Premium Coffee is a coffee roaster and an ice blended smoothie manufacturer in Baldwin Park. Scott is the owner and we have worked together on some projects in the past and he is also one of the best product development people I have met. He has his own line of coffees and smoothies under the "Cappo" brand name and they are in many fine coffeehouses, tea houses, and a few smoothie chains. I did some business review and business planning for him and enjoyed quite a bit of his Matcha Green Tea ice bended drinks while crunching numbers.
The gentleman knows what customers want in flavor profiles and very attentive to his customers - thats the way to keep the coffee flowing.....

My family loves this place. On weekends its especially nice because they make fresh sushi and sashimi as well as hibachi made to order and tons of seafood. The kids like it because they can eat immediately, especially after busy weekday sports games. They also have mac n cheese and mashed potatoes and traditional "American food" for those not particularly adventurous. They have yummy whole baby octopus if your adventurous! It can get crowded and it is easy to overindulge but if you are looking for a quick way to satisfy a group that can't make up their minds about what to get its a great place to go. They always have good coupons too.
