Aug 12, 2009Milford Feed is one of those small, independent businesses that has weathered the economic roller coaster by providing exceptional personal service. Word-of-mouth seems to be sufficient advertising to keep this business alive and growing. Situated in a residential area on the outskirts of town, the rustic building seems a bit out of place, and has probably been there for centuries. The interior is reminiscent of an old-fashioned store, with roosters cockadoodling in a corner cage, fresh eggs for sale on the counter, and the resident cat meandering about. Patrons are often greeted by Kathy Percy, who has an amazing knowledge of products and remedies for just about any ailment or condition. The store has maintained a steady flow of loyal customers, who I hope will continue their support for years to come.
