I have attended First Unity on a regular basis since 2006 and felt the difference from all other churches I have ever attended...I felt like I  "came home". Unity is a spiritual movement founded in 1889, which has more than 900 Unity churches worldwide. Unity teaches positive, practical spirituality, which nurtures spiritual growth and understanding. Unity teaches how to apply spiritual principals in our daily lives and applies a New Thought and Metaphysical approach to Christianity. Rev. Temple Hayes is an incredible Teacher and Speaker and anyone who has not heard or seen her can visit their website at www.firstunity.org and click on Podcast...you can view most all weekly service....and by the way...each weekly service is totally different from the last. They have a wonderful music department as well as youth through teen programs. They bring in wonderful musical guests as well as the most dynamic New Thought Teachers from around the world. Their newest addition is Rev. Russell Heiland and I have enjoyed his teaching and humor. Lastly, If you have not visited WINGS Bookstore on the corner 4th Street and 45 Ave you are missing out. They have a coffee bar, WiFi and an eclectic collection of books and gifts. Unity celebrates diversity and welcomes everyone. Service are every Sunday at 9am and 11am with plently of various other services and activities throughout the week
