This is my “go to” place for movies! My family lives off of movies! It’s our “thing,” and over the years, we have an impressive collection. Many have been purchased from DVD Planet. Further, I’m a HUGE 80’s fanatic, and partial to John Hughes flicks…all the “Brat Pack” films. They can be “B” movies and kind of really goofy. I’ll say, “Hey, I want this…” and my husband will look at me with uncertainty and if it exists on DVD, then DVD Planet will have it in stock or on order!

That’s what happened when I was searching for an old Phoebe Cates and Matthew Modine movie, called Private School. With movie technology today, some old movies and scenes may be deemed “cheesy” or “silly,” but that’s what makes it entertaining and reminds me of high school!  I LOVE that I can find them here and see some present stars, like Sara Jessica Parker’s, first or early movies, such as “Girls Just Want to Have Fun!” or John Cusack in, “Better off Dead!” or Julie Roberts in, “Mystic Pizza!”
Just recently, I’ve been finding some oldies that I think my son will enjoy…”Navigator” (which has Sarah Jessica Parker), “Goonies,” (the Corey’s), and “Cloak & Dagger” (starring the kid from E.T.) It’s FUN!
Oh, and DVD Planet is located right next to a Bev More, so you can run in and grab some wine or beer to enjoy a “grown-up” movie after the kids have gone nighty-night!
Thank you DVD Planet, you’ve kept parents with young children sane.
