What is eCompliments?
EC is an online forum for “sharing the good” about any person, place, thing or business.  EC contains the listings of millions of businesses in America, and odds are there are businesses listed in your town.  It is a great way to expand your word of mouth network and find the good or share the good about anything in the world.

Is eCompliments free?
Yes! All types of profiles (User, Pro and Personal Pro) is completely free. Users can create a user profile for free.  If you or your business would like, you can upgrade your membership to the Professional version.

Why use eCompliments?
eCompliments is different than other review sites, because it is the first online review site to legitimately strike a balance between business and consumer.  Businesses trust that EC will enforce its policies and not let slanderous or malicious comments be falsely posted.  Consumers trust that EC doesn’t pander to businesses and truly allows consumers with real compliments, whether positive or negative, to legitimately provide these in an open, reputable forum.

Who uses eCompliments?
EC is a forum for consumers and businesses alike.  Everyone finds themselves in situations where they want to either share the good or find the good. 

What can I compliment?
ANYTHING!  eCompliments was designed to be the world’s forum for sharing the good about anything.  Whether it is the great service you received at a local business, or the new gadget you can’t live without, or the art gallery you just visited, you can leave a compliment about it. 

Can everyone see my profile and compliments?
Generally, yes.  When you register with EC, you can create a screen name of your choice.  This registration also creates a profile for you in the system that can be found by others on the site.  In some limited instances, you may post a positive compliment anonymously to another profile.  However, in order to post a negative compliment, you must register as a user. 

Can profile owners message me after I review their profile?
Yes.  With the Complimenter Responder, a profile owner may reach out to those who have complimented their profile, whether the compliment was positive or negative.  These are private messages sent to the reviewer, however, the reviewer’s email is never given to the business, nor are they identifiable by anything other than the reviewer’s screen name and by any information posted in the compliment.

Is eCompliments in my area?
Yes.  Even though we are a new company, we have profile listings in every city in the United States.  If there’s a phonebook listing for your city, then there are profile listings on eCompliments.
